Intel says, Haswell will carry twice the performance higher than Ivy Bridge, in addition to more power efficient so they can save the battery ultrabook to two times longer.

Matter of more efficient power consumption has been described by Intel in the Intel Developer Forum last September. Haswell has the figures mentioned minimum power consumption by 10 watts, while Ivy Bridge scored 17 watts.

Intel Haswell divided into two famili es: the chip with power consumption of 10 watts dedicated to the combined hybrid ultrabook and tablet, as well as the families of 15 and 17 watt chip intended for laptop and ultrabook.

According to Stacy Smith, Intels Chief Financial Officer, Haswell will reach "qualification for sale" in the first half of 2013. Each chip fabricated through serangkauan Intel internal and external qualification process before it can be produced.
